Parents/Guardians can pay school fees via Tyro. The purpose of this is to allow parents/guardians to pay the fee off in instalments if you wish. If you have any queries concerning Tyro, pleasoe call reception on the number below or email kennedycollege@wwetb.ie.

Only black jackets/ coats are allowed to be worn to school.
No hoodies or sweatshirts are allowed at any time in school.
Consent for all trips
Please complete the form linked below to give consent for trips throughout the 2026/2027 school year. Students will not be able to participate in school trips unless this form is completed.

Healthy Eating Policy
A reminder that our Healthy Eating Policy is available on the school website. As part of this policy, energy drinks, fizzy drinks, hot deli food and multi-pack/share size sweets, crisps etc are all prohibited from school. Please refrain from dropping in deli/takeaway food to your child at break times.

School Apps
iClass-
Messages regarding early closures and events will be sent through this app. You can also submit absences using iClass. Download iClassCMS. Register your details and use code ‘KCsa20’ to be linked to our school.
Tyro-
You will be sent your username and a link to set your password at the start of the school year. Through this app, you can access your child’s academic reports, behaviour, timetable and attendance.
Attendance
We are required to report any pupils who have missed 20 or more school days for any reason. You will be informed if your child is included in the report.
Explained absences, due to illness etc, are not a cause for concern.
A large number of unexplained absences may lead to further involvement from the Education Welfare Officer.
There are many ways to inform us of the reason for your child’s absence:
- Submit an absence explanation through Tyro.
- Fill in the school absence note in the back of the student’s journal and have them return it to the office.
- Call the school office on 051-421278.
- Email the school office kennedycollege@wwetb.ie
- Fill in the absence section on the iClass app.
When informing us of your child’s absence, a basic reason is all that is needed, for e.g. ‘sick’, ‘appointment’, ‘family reason’, etc.
Please have your child in school for 9am each day. We understand this isn't always possible, and understanding is always there for extenuating circumstances. Chat to us if it's an ongoing challenge and a note can be made of it.
